Southwest Florida Flats and Back Country Fishing

Hello, My name is Capt. Terry Pitz I am a Fishing Guide on the flats and backcountry for tarpon, snook, trout, redfish and much more! I offer bait, spinning, light tackle or flyfishing for the experienced or novice fisherman.

If your staying in Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach, Naples, Cape Coral or here on Pine Island.
I have pickup spots for all of these areas, less than a 30 minute drive. We'll be fishing the beautiful waters of Pine Island Sound. The Sound has over 200 square miles of water and one hundred mangrove islands. It's rich with wildlife and beauty.

Did I mention the fishing is fantastic too? We will be fishing afloat a 21' Lake and Bay Flats boat that floats in 8 inches of water to get to those hard to find fish.

I have been a USCG licensed Captain for over twenty years. I have been guiding these waters since 1996. I have also guided in Alaska and Colorado. I am a certified fly instructor and have over twenty corporate sponsors.

I was voted the Best 2010 Fishing Guide by the people of Pine Island and the Pine Island Press. And was added to the Mercury Pro team in 2011. Fishing is all about having FUN, so if you ready to have some fun, just give me a call and book a fishing trip of a lifetime.

Capt. Terry is only one of a handful of guides that has been issued a Special Use Permit to guide in the Refuge. He has great respect and knowledge of the marine, birds and wildlife of the area. Let him take you on a quiet relaxing ECO tour of the refuge and the surrounding area. See manatees, dolphins, great herons, pelicans, egrets, eagles and much more. The refuge has no wake zones and no motorized areas, which keeps the fishing pressure
down. So the fishing at certain times of the year can be fantastic, as well. Please let the Captain know if you are interested in going into the “Ding” for fishing or for an ECO tour.
